Paper And Petals…
It’s funny how certain things in life open your eyes to new possibilities. That was the case with this business. It all started with my sisters-in-law’s baby shower. I should first explain how much I thoroughly enjoy hosting parties. I absolutely love creating party themes and designs unique to each event. It’s truly my passion. To me… it’s all in the details. For my sister-in-law’s shower I wanted to create something different. A piece of the party décor that would not only be a statement piece and the focal point of the room, but a piece that serves a purpose… as a gorgeous backdrop for photos taken that day. It did exactly that! Guests gathered in front of it to snap pictures with the mommy-to-be. When it was time to open gifts, we tossed a chair in front of it for her to sit in and every single picture of her opening gifts was picture perfect with the floral wall as the background! What I didn’t expect was how many passersby would comment on it, wanting to take pictures, asking to buy it, etc. Something in me clicked that day and I decided to give it a try as a business and fully committed that day to its success.
